FEBRUARY 28, 2006

We are all nearly over the sickness. Michael is taking a turn with the laryngitis for now. We are tearing through the sick days lately. I guess we should count our blessings for having paid leave time. For that, we are very thankful.

Emily just told me that she wants 'another baby Breonna.' She said, "Then there can be two of them. We can have one and Jai can have one. I like baby Breonna." She was really animated and used her hands to gesture and explain this to me. I told her that there is only one Breonna and our baby will be different, but she can still like the new baby.  Funny kid.

Bethany is having a hard time. She just wants to be the baby. I can only imagine how this situation will worsen in a few months. Babies make her so jealous. Still, she is such a good momma to her baby dollies.

Me Baby! Hold me like baby, momma!

I'm at 30 weeks now. Time is flying by, but recently it seems to creep along as I have begun to lumber around more than walk. This baby seems to feel like it's falling- I guess soon enough it will fall right out (if only it was that easy, right?). Overall I'm still down 26 lbs from when this all started. The baby sites all say that I should probably gain a pound a week until the end of this ordeal now. I've set up the pack-n-play for baby boy in the current toy room. We planned to use Bethany's crib, but with her issues we're not going to take that away for now.  We have no name for baby boy yet. Well, 10 weeks to go (give or take) so I guess we'll just see how this all goes.

Coats & scrubs help me look not so big, but here I am at 30 wks (profile). It's tough not to show!

This week has been tiring already. I have started another 3 credit hour course, we've had a business planning meeting, and there are tons of clients to see at work to keep me busy. This past weekend our sewer line broke, froze, and backed up so we got to call a plumber in on a Sunday. They then had to return today once it had thawed, so that they could work for HOURS. Man, I'm going to love paying for that.

FEBRUARY 14, 2006

We've all been sick this past week. I had another baby dr visit and all is well with that one. We had several family dr visits too. I asked for a punch card so we could get a visit free now and then since we are such frequent flyers. UH!

Bethany had her two year checkup. She was 34 1/2 inches tall (60th %ile) and 26 pounds (50th %ile). Michael went with her so I don't know much more than that. He did say she screamed the whole time, even when they wanted her to just stand on the scale.

Jaimee had her baby girl on 2/9/06. She named her Breonna Michelle. She was 8lbs 2oz and 21 inches long. The baby was so pretty with lots of dark hair. Jaimee had some complications, bu they all worked out just fine. They both got out of the hospital just in time for the baby shower. Great timing!

Emily was scheduled to get her tonsils out on Friday, but she was sick so we had to reschedule AGAIN. Maybe someday that child will get this surgery done. We rescheduled for March, but I swear if we have to reschedule again I'm just going to wait until this summer.
